Modern Bathroom Design
Modern bathroom design is about clean lines, simplicity and minimalism. All these things combine together to create a unique bathroom design. There are several things to consider when designing these spaces.
Tile
Tile will usually be clean and simple. You will usually want to go with a smooth surface and tight grout lines.
Colors
As with any other bathroom design staying with lighter colors is always a good idea to prevent the bathroom from looking smaller.
Light
Light is important. You want a well lit space and can lights with clean simple sconces work well together. This will create an atmosphere that is easy to control.
Windows
A clean window design with no dividers or glass blocks do a great job of bringing natural light into this space while maintaining a modern look.
Faucetry
Shower valves and sink faucets will need to be utilitarian and clean in design. Chrome is ubiquitous with modern bathroom design and is the preferred choice when it comes to finish.
Showers and Tubs
Clean lines are important here too. Using contrasting colors is a great way to create an inviting space with maintaining a modern look. In this shower area we installed glaser 1″ glass tiles. The result was a very interesting space with subtle color variatons.
